Patellofemoral Pain

  • The shifting of knee cap from its place as one performs a regular motion of legs is called Patellar tracking disorder.

 

  • For some people, the kneecap shifts inwards whereas, for most of the people suffering from this syndrome, kneecap shifts outwards.

 

  • Quadricep retraining and patellar mobilisation is one way to treat this.

 

  • A minimum six to eight weeks of exercise programme needs to be maintained in order for the benefit to show off.
